By using SurfTrip.ph you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site. These terms are governed by Philippine law.

2. What SurfTrip.ph is

SurfTrip.ph is a surf forecasting and surf guide site covering Philippine surf spots. It is an independent hobby project, not an official meteorological service, not affiliated with PAGASA, NOAA, or any government agency, and not a substitute for professional advice.

3. Forecast disclaimer

Please read this. Surf forecasts are guidance only. The ocean is unpredictable and conditions change rapidly. SurfTrip forecasts are derived from processed third-party data and do not represent official meteorological output. They may be incorrect, delayed, or incomplete.

Always check conditions at the beach before paddling out, assess your own ability honestly, monitor tide, wind, and current, and use local knowledge. Never rely solely on any forecast service - including this one - for decisions involving personal safety.

SurfTrip.ph accepts no liability for injury, loss, or damage arising from reliance on forecasts displayed on the site.

4. Data and content licensing

SurfTrip.ph's processed forecast output, Alon AI summaries, spot guides, and other site content (collectively "SurfTrip Content") are the product of significant processing work and are protected under applicable intellectual property law.

Commercial use - written consent required

5. Alon AI

Alon AI summaries are generated by an AI system from processed forecast data. They are informational only and subject to the same forecast disclaimer in section 3. AI-generated text may contain errors. Alon AI is a SurfTrip.ph product and is covered by the data licensing terms in section 4.

6. Affiliate disclosure

Some accommodation links on SurfTrip.ph are Agoda affiliate links. If you click and book, we may receive a commission at no additional cost to you. Affiliate links are how we fund the site. We do not accept payment to feature or rank listings favorably in editorial content.

7. Prohibited use

You may not:

Scrape the site in a way that degrades performance or circumvents rate limits
Attempt to reverse-engineer the forecast pipeline or Alon AI
Use the site to distribute spam or malware
Create a substantially similar competing service using SurfTrip Content without written permission
Use the site in any way that violates Philippine law

8. Availability

SurfTrip.ph is provided as-is. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the site at any time without notice. We are a small team and do not guarantee uptime or data freshness.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Philippine courts.
