Typhoon Domeng Looking to bring good waves this weekend

Get ready for another rad weekend in the water! As we near Saturday and Sunday, the forecast has been evolving, and it's looking like a beautiful window for some solid time on the board.

So, what are the waves looking like for the weekend? On paper, the conditions are looking awesome for an extended session. We are tracking an incoming ground swell that’s hanging comfortably around 1.67 meters with a solid 9-second interval. The cool part? The forecast looks like it's gonna hit us from East to West. That specific direction looks like it’s gonna wrap around Cobra Reef nicely! It’s not looking too gnarly, but honestly, it's a super clean setup.

As for the wind, it appears it will be relatively cooperative. We're looking at light, clean conditions early on before it switches to some manageable cross/offshore vibes, which helps keep the wave faces smooth and tidy.

I’m already preparing my board, putting on a fresh coat of wax, and packing an extra leash and some energy bars for an extended session this weekend, lol!

We will be sharing photos of the waves this weekend to see how accurate the formula we have been working on holds up against the real conditions. Whether you're paddling out or just checking things out from the shore, see you in the lineup!
